B&B Congress Chronicles Day Seven: Callie and Crush Earn a Congress Top Five
Wednesday, September 30, 2026 | Columbus, Ohio
We know him as Crush. At Congress, he is Leavin A Legaci, and he and Callie Messenger gave our team a run worth cheering for.
Callison “Callie” Messenger and Leavin A Legaci marked a 213 to earn fifth place in NRHA Youth Reining 14–18 at the 2026 All American Quarter Horse Congress. A Congress top five for this pair was a tremendous way to highlight Day Seven for B&B Reinebach.
Callie and Crush Deliver
The stops. The spins. The kind of run you want to watch again as soon as it ends. Callie and Crush gave Team Crush plenty to celebrate, both in Columbus and back home in Illinois.
As trainers, seeing a rider and horse put together a performance like this is why we do what we do. We get to follow the partnership beyond the few minutes everyone sees in the show pen. That makes it especially rewarding to see Callie and Crush come away with a 213 and a place among the top five at Congress.
Callie, we are proud of you. You and Crush earned this moment, and we are glad to have you representing B&B Reinebach.
A Horse Worth Celebrating
Crush deserves his share of the credit. His athleticism is easy to appreciate in the sliding stops, but following him through a season also gives you an appreciation for the partnership he shares with his riders.
Earlier in the show, Britney and Crush marked a 211 and earned seventh in NRHA Limited Open competition in the All Star Reining Stakes Open Derby. Callie’s fifth-place finish adds another Congress top ten to his week, with two riders our barn family has been cheering on throughout the season.
We are proud of both performances and grateful for this horse.
Team Crush from Illinois to Ohio
To Callie’s family and everyone supporting this pair, thank you. Having people invested in the horse, the rider, and the work behind them makes these results even better to share.
Congratulations, Callie and Crush. A 213, a Congress top five, and a run our B&B family will be replaying for a long time.
