A First Buckle and More Plaques for the B&B Reinebach Show Team at the MWRHA Fall Festival
Updated: Oct 14
September 19–20, 2026 | Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Abbey McCall and A Pale Face Star earned their first buckle together. Mila Dishman and Mizzens Whiz added two more Short Stirrup plaques to their 2026 collection. And a full group of B&B riders, horses, and owners had earnings to celebrate as we wrapped up our Midwest Reining Horse Association club show season.
The MWRHA Fall Festival, held September 19–20 at the Kirkwood Equestrian Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, gave our team plenty to be proud of. We are a little late sharing this recap, but these accomplishments deserve their moment in the B&B Bulletin.
Abbey McCall and A Pale Face Star earn their first buckle together!
Congratulations to Abbey McCall and A Pale Face Star on a milestone worth celebrating: their first buckle as a team! Abbey and her horse competed for the Green Amateur buckle and also made their debut in the ranch events.
The Fall Festival offered the B&B Reinebach Green Versatility Challenge, bringing reining together with ranch riding and working western rail. That combination gave competitors an opportunity to put their horsemanship to work across multiple events.
For Abbey and A Pale Face Star, the weekend brought a first buckle alongside a new competitive experience. Trying another event means taking what you have practiced and applying it to a different set of expectations. We are proud of Abbey for taking that step and excited to see where this partnership goes next.
Mila Dishman and Mizzens Whiz add two Short Stirrup plaques!
Mila Dishman and Mizzens Whiz brought home two additional Short Stirrup plaques, adding to their 2026 collection. Congratulations, Mila!
It is especially rewarding to watch our young riders put their practice to work in the show pen. Learning to remember a pattern, make decisions in the saddle, and stay connected to a horse takes time. We love seeing those efforts give riders something to be proud of, and we are happy to celebrate another successful outing for Mila and Mizzens Whiz.
Congratulations to our money earners!
We also want to recognize the riders and horses who brought home earnings during our final MWRHA club shows:
· Britney Reinebach and A Pale Face Star.
· Vi Larson and Brock Reinebach with Chromesided.
· Maya Dishman and Britney Reinebach with Ultimate Chic Dream.
· Casey Oglesby and McSwagger, owned by Veronica Roller.
· Marley Nordstrom and QTs Pipi.
· Aubree McCall and Kikidoyouloveme.
· DeLaney Thomas and Electric Frost Bite.
Congratulations to each of these teams. We appreciate the work you put into your riding and the opportunity to help you and your horses prepare for competition.
Thank you to the people behind the season.
Thank you to the Midwest Reining Horse Association for putting on the club shows that gave our team opportunities to compete throughout the season. These events provide valuable experience for riders building toward their first goals and for competitors continuing to develop their horses.
To our clients, horse owners, families, and everyone who supports B&B, thank you for your trust and hard work. A season asks a great deal of the people behind each entry, from making time to ride to helping with the everyday care that horses depend on. We appreciate that commitment and are grateful to share these accomplishments with you.
Let us talk about your 2027 reining goals!
What would you like to work toward next season? Perhaps it is your first reining show, a first buckle, or more confidence and consistency with your horse. Now is a good time to talk through those goals and what it will take to prepare.
Brock and Britney Reinebach welcome you to connect with B&B Reinebach in Princeville, Illinois, near Peoria, about riding lessons, horse training, and show team opportunities. Tell us about your experience, your horse, and your goals for 2027. We would love to discuss how our program could fit.
